Golf is fun

Mommy (Macy) bought a new set of golf for the twins.
Payson gets the green one, and Addi-Belle gets pink.

We tried to tell them that you put the ball down,
and then hit it with the club.

Addi-Belle takes a try at it.
It seems like she gets it

Payson takes a try at it.

But he can not hit the ball.  He keeps swinging
and swinging.

Orion said that he would play with them
and show them how to hit the ball.

This is how you do it.

Can you show me again?

Helping Pa with yard work

Pa is hand cutting the dead tree limbs.

Payson and  Addi-Belle are watching.
(Ma had to take a picture of the picture
because the computer would not rotate the original.)

Addi-Belle and Payson are looking
at the new flowers that we purchased today.

Addi-Belle and Payson really love to help Pa water the garden.

Addi-Belle helps Pa plant one of the new flowers.

Addi-Belle is helping Pa water the vegetables

Payson is helping Pa remove all the dead leaves from the garden.

Addi-Belle and Payson are helping water the garden.

Pa shows them what to do.
(Mostly just hold or watch the hose.)

Also, the water goes into the bird bath.

Time to move the hose.

Helping Pa

For a two year old child, nothing seems more
important than what they see an adult do.
So Payson and Addi-Belle decided they wanted
to help Pa.

Payson is using the play lawn mower
and Addi-Belle is using the play vacuum.

It is so much fun when you can actually see the grass become shorter

First we go this way, and then...............

we come back this way.

More Back Yard Fun

Mommy (Macy) has tried to buy a few toys for the twins
to play with.  They are getting a little older and their
baby toys just don't work anymore to keep them
entertained.  Grandma (Ma) found some spray
bottles at the dollar store, and they loved them!
Mommy said " I spent a bunch of money on toys,
and the thing they love the most is the squirt
bottle that cost one dollar."

Ma got Payson a blue one, and Addi-Belle a pink one.

Orion ended up with the one we already had.
Ma did not think he would be interested, but Orion
wanted to play.  He is tricky though
because he is taking cover behind the Cherry tree.

Payson chased Orion

Addi-Belle chased Orion.
Orion stayed behind the tree.

Addi-Belle and Payson ganged up on Orion,
but it was no use.....Orion could get them soaked
while he stayed dry.

Finally, Orion  came out, and Payson thought he would
try staying behind the tree.  I guess it  he figured that
since he is so much shorter, the tree does not work the same.

Getting Orion!!
(Addi-Belle's squirt bottle is backwards facing her)

Ma did not know it for a while, but Orion had his
bottle on full squirt, while Payson and Addi-Belle
only had theirs set on gentle spray.

Orion was the winner at this game.
Payson came out of it soaked.

Back Yard Fun

We got all the kids a new ball to play with in the back yard.
We had some before, except all but one popped.
It made Addi-Belle sad, and so we got more.

Addi-Belle has the purple one,
Payson picked out the red one for himself,
and Orion kicked his over the fence and never
got it back, so we got him the same green one.

The blue one is Payson's old one.
Orion thought he would excercize by rolling
around on as many balls as possible.
Addi-Belle tried this trick too.

Payson just sat there and squirted his ball with water.

It was a Back Yard full of fun for everyone.

Kinder-Care Mother's Day gifts.

Payson and Addi-Belle made special gifts for
mommy at the Day Care on Friday.
This card is from Payson.

This one is from Addi-Belle.
Both cards have the same poem
The poem says:
"You wash my prints from walls and doors,
For I am not careful where I play.
But here is a print you'll want to keep
It's made for you this Mother's Day."

The day care has been planning on this for a month.
The 2 year old class all planted and watered seeds,
and the seeds soon grew into baby plants.

We left them on mommy's bed so she could see
them when she came home from work on Saturday night.
We put these balloons there too.  Only we forgot to
get a photo, and so the balloons have gotten
smaller for the real Mother's Day.

To MA: Happy Mother's Day, love Orion

Pa helped Orion pick out a really nice
Mother's Day card to go along
with the gift he made in school.

Pa and Orion know how much Ma Loves
Precious Moments, and so
that is the card that was meant for her.
Orion learned to write in cursive this year,
and so he especially wanted to make it
a special signature.

Orion with Ma and his special gift.
It is a decorated mug with pens that
have been changed to look like flowers.

Ma loves the gift Orion made.  It is so cute and
practical too!  It was a good idea for a
Mother's Day gift.
P.S. Orion decorated the gift bag too.

Thank you Orion.  You are a special son.
