July 4th 2011 sparklers

After we got to go see the fireworks at the

Balloon Fiesta Park, we came home

on the bus again, and then drove home.

When we got home Mommy (Macy)

got a bunch of smaller fireworks

for the kids to have fun with

(with adult supervision of course)

We had a lot of fun with the sparklers

July 4th 2011 Fireworks

We are heading to the Balloon Fiesta Park to watch

the fireworks.  This year we decided to try riding

the buses that meet at certain locations across town.

It saves on parking at the park which is $10.00 per car.

The bus is $1.00 per person over 12.  Kids are free.

We had 15 people going in our group. 

 We would have spent $40.00 just for parking.

These are the buses we loaded on.  We went

to Coronado Mall to catch them.

We all ate Kentucky Fried Chicken and

then the kids all got to go jump on

jungle gyms and slides until dark.

The fireworks started at around 9:30

They recognized fireworks from the Disney Channel.

July 4th 2011 swimming

After the barbeque we all decided to go swimming

Bion and Addi-Belle are ready to go.

Michelle is crippled due to a foot injury.

When Pa asked him if he wanted to come and jump in

he ran over to the chairs.

It was so funny to see the look on his face.

July 4th 2011 Barbeque

We started our Independence Day celebration

first of all by having a Barbeque.  Everyone

came over to our house by 1:00 p.m.

Pa grilled Bratwursts and we had potatoe salad,

Jello salad, green salad, beverages and Chocolate Cream Pie.

While we were waiting for the grilling, Bion and Michelle

played a catch game.

It was easier to catch because the mit has velcro on it.

so on Sunday afternoon this is what they did.

They did not even change from their church clothes.

They played and played and played the WII

Bion played and then Orion played.

They took turns.  The game is one that Bion brought.

This is the Leggo Batman game.

You would think it was a movie drama

by the way the boys were so intense.

Addi-Bell and her new hair cut

Addi-Belle has a very bad habit.

She loves to twirl her hair with

her finger.  She twirls and twirls.

She has gotten her finger stuck several times

in her hair, and she also gets such bad

knots in her hair that mommy had to

cut them out.  Her hair turned into

a lop-sided jaggety hair due.

Today mommy decided to cut it

so that it is all even again.

How do you like it?

It also is short enough that

Addii-Belle can not twirl it into a knot.

Yeah.

Hopefully this will end the habit.

Fun Summer Evening

Pa got a new slip and slide, and Orion and Bion

just love it.  They could play in it all day long.

Payson loves it too, but he needs help to go

sliding down.

Addi-Belle is in the back-ground.

She does not like it.  It is scarey.

Orion and Bion like to race to see who is

the first one to the end where there is a pile of water.

Orion's side is always the yellow side because

that is his favorite color, but the best side

is actually the blue one since that

is where the water is sprinkling from.

The water sprinkles from the blue side all the way

down and then it sprinkles at the end for

a grande finally

Bion is racing Payson this time.

It's a tie
