To Mommy: Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday the twins wrapped a special
present just for mommy.  They were so excited
to give it to her that they wanted to get in the car
right away and take it to her at work.  I told them
that they have to wait intil in the morning because
that is when Mother's Day is.

So when morning came, they took the presents right away
to give to mommy.  Boy where they excited!!

Payson got there first, and woke mommy up.
Addi-Belle was too excited to wait, and so
she unwrapped the gift on the way.
The pink pajamas you see on the bed are from her.

Mommy lifted Payson up on the bed with her

Addi-Belle had an extra gift from Bion, her older brother
who is not here with us at the moment.

Payson is so excited for mommy to see his
special gift.

He gave mommy some Elmo pajamas.
Elmo is one of Payson's most favorite
Sesame Street characters.

Addi-Belle gave mommy some Minnie Mouse pajamas.
Both Payson and Addi-Belle love Disney's
Mickey Mouse Play House

A Mother's Day card from the kids

Addi-Belle and Payson signed it with
their thumb prints.  We made a picture
to show who was who, and Bion we
had to sign with a heart because
he was not here in person, but he is always in
mommy's heart.

Mommy got breakfast in bed this morning too.
It is Cherries and whipped cream on
pancakes.  Yum yum.

School field trip to Explora!

Today on May 4th, the fourth grade went on a
field trip to Explora Children's Science Museum

Everything is a hands-on experience.
Ma got the day off from work and went with us.

This is our class waiting to go in.

We were split into different sections with different guides.
Our section was A and our guide was Andres
We all had to wear orange A stickers.

The first thing we saw was a fountain.
The fountain did a bunch of water patterns
Orion is pushing a button to tell the water to jump.

The guide set a demonstration of a bunch of
water patterns.  It was a really fun show.

Everyone was to have a partner.  Orion's was Hanna.
This section is where everyone could build a house.

Hanna and Orion are building a house.
There is a house already built in the background.

Hanna and Orion are playing different sounds.
Xylophones made of steel, wood, and glass.
Hanna is playing the steel one,
Orion is playing the glass one.

Everyone got to try their shot at making a huge bubble.
It was fun to see the different patterns the bubbles made.
It was fun to see how big they got too.

This is where we got to wear heaphones to hear sound vibrations.

Hanna and Orion are supposed to
use the puzzle and communicate with
the computer.  They did not figure it out.

This is where Orion got to see how momentum works.

This is the place where we get to see water patterns.
We make a maze and see how the ball follows
the water currents.

Up close making the maze with plactc squares.

In this room we got to see air patterns.
Orion is flying the airplane against the wind.

This is the view from where Orion is sitting.
