Bion's Birthday Pizza

After we went to Hinkle Family Fun Center,

We all went to Dion's Pizza

It is fun because children can actually watch

the pizza being made. 

The kids all had cheese pizza,

and the adults had pizza with

ham mushrooms, and olives.

Bion's Birthday, Boats and Race Cars

Bria is on the far left.

The game is that you try to aim at another boat

and shoot.  A water pistol  shoots a blast of water

out of your boat to the next one.

The only problem is, when you are able

to aim at the next boat, you are also close enough

to get shot at from them.  Both of you end up soaked.

Bria (in the middle) is aiming at the other boat.

Orion does not play the game.  He goes in and out

of the tunnel.  This is his favorite part.

These are the race cars.  Aunt Shatzi and Uncle Dave

are the drivers.  You have to be bigger to drive,

and smaller people are passengers.

By this time, Logan has had it.  He took a long nap.

Pa tilted his stroller back so he would be more comfortable.

Bion's Birthday Rock Climbing

Bria and Aunt Shatzi are trying out the rock climbing.

Bion was too nervous to try this one.

Aunt Shatzi said that rock climbing is harder

than it looks because the colored rocks are small

and the biggest ones are only about 1 inch deep.

Max can't resist climbing the fence while

he watches.

Aunt Shatzi made it pretty far up.

                                            Uncle  Dave got the closest to the top 

                                            Orion is climbing up.  When you get up as far as you
                                                want, then you just jump back, and the rope holds
                                                 you as you glide down. 
                                                                        

Bion's Birthday Golf at Hinkle Family Fun Center

Bion's favorite game at Hinkle Family Fun Center

is minature golf.  This is the event we did first.

time at minature golf.  He did not

know what to do at first, but

then he did a good job.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BION

Bion's Birthday is on July 31, 2011

Bion turned 8 years old this year.

This makes it a special year traditionally,

because 8 is a special birthday for our church.

Mommy (Macy) and Bion celebrated his

birthday by going to ITZ.  The bigger party

was held on August 2nd because we were waiting

for cousins to come. He hasn't seen these cousins in 2 years.

Bion was able to pick out his own birthday cake.

Mommy ordered a 1/2 sheet, but the store made a mistake

and made a full sheet cake.  It was HUGE and cost mommy

$55.  Bion picked out the Green Lantern action figure design.

Opening presents.  Bion got a BeyBlade from Bria and Max,

and a squirt gun, and some candy fish and sour patch kids.

 he got a WII game called Speed Racer,

and some new school shirts, and

a party at Hinkle Family Fun Center

Bion got a mask from daddy and Grandma Kristi and  Grandpa Robert

called  Captain America.

It was a very fun day for everyone.

Huts and Forts

Orion has always loved to built huts and forts.  Today is a hot summer day
and so he and Tyler Pete from next door, and Bion  decided to build one in the front yard.

At first they got a couple of umbrellas and

put some blankets over them.

Pa must have saw what they were doing

and offered to help them with something better.

So Pa set up the small tent.

At first the tent was under the shade of the tree,

but soon the sun was directly on it, and so

as the tent got warmer, Bion decided to go in

and watch a movie. 

They had a good time having an adventure.

Wild Hogs the movie

Orion has been watching the movie WILD HOGS which is about a
motorcycle group.  The movie was filmed in New Mexico about 3 years ago.
The movie was released in movie theaters in 2010.  Orion really likes this movie,
so in July 18, 2011 Pa took Michelle, Orion and Bion up to Madrid, New Mexico
to see where the movie took place.

This Diner was the main location for the movie.

The Diner was built just for the movie.

Today the Diner is not a diner at all, but

it is a souvenir shop for the movie.

They sell tee shirts and posters and nick knacks

that are about the movie,

and they also sell tee shirts and souvenirs for New Mexico
