Menus

Last week in Cub Scouts, the leader assigned the boys to make a menu for an entire week
consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner.  For Orion, the Breakfasts and lunches were easy
because he just eats at school.  But he made a breakfast and lunch menu for the weekend days,
and he also made a menu for each night of the entire week.  The last night was to go out
and eat at Chick-Fil-A.  (Of course he was not planning on paying for it)
We did not know it at the time of planning, but Tuesday was a special Family Night
that was announced by the christian radio station.  Several families and children were there.
The cow is the mascot for Chick-Fil-A
and since the special Christian Family Night
was pirates, the cow had on a pirate hat.

The Chick-Fil-A cow sat in front where
they were showing a Veggie-Tales movie
about pirates.

Orion was attached to the cow.

The movie screen
for the movie.
This Pirate was the MC of the event.
He was very good with the children.

This pirate was supposed to be Captain Sparrow.
(Captain Sparrow was in the Disney movie
Pirates of the Caribbean)

One  reason for the Family Night that was sponsored
by the christian radio station was to have
a fund raiser to give Christmas donations
for children, and for Christian missions around the world.
We took a box to fill with different things
to give to the children at Christmas.
The airplane may indicate that this
effort is for children through out the world.

The box is the size of a regular shoe box.
It is decorated with the red and green
Christmas colors.
And on top you indicate whether
the gift is for a boy or a girl.
We took a box home to fill,
and then take back later.
