Addi-Belle is afraid of the water, because of a near
drowning experience she had earlier in the year.
She was sitting on a floating device when it flipped,
and it put her upside down in the water. No one
had noticed for a while, and Addi was kicking and wailing
her arms in desperation. Finally Macy noticed and brought
her upright, but she was never the same after that.
Ma and Pa bought Payson and Addi-Belle swimsuits
with life jackets built in. Payson loves the swimsuit,
and is not afraid of the water. His favorite thing to do
is to jump in and let Pa catch him. Orion has been swimming
for so many years that he is very relaxed in the water.
He knows his limitations, so he stays by the edge when he
thinks he is too tired. But Ma is impressed on what
a great swimmer Orion is in spite of his handicap.
Bubba and Orion go swimming often. Bubba
is standing on his hands. Bubba also likes to dive in the water.
It was very fun.
