Macy moves to Salt Lake (part 4)

The total trip took us a very long time because we were pulling the trailer.
U-Haul recommends only going 55 miles per hour.  We drove 60 miles per hour.
The trip from Albuquerque to Salt Lake City is about 11 hours if you go an
average of 70 miles per hour.  This trip took us about 14 or 15 hours total.

We saw lots of trains on the trip

We saw hundreds of cows too.
We also saw bulls, llamas, and burrows.

This is going through Soldier Summit
This is the mountain pass into the Salt Lake Valley
and there is a train track going through also.
There is also a river that runs along the road.

The train track and road.
Such pretty scenery.

There are windmills to create power.
There were about 20 of them
as we came out of the canyon.
It is a great place for the canyon winds.

This is Kennocot Copper Mines in Salt Lake

The great Mount Olympus.
It is the highest peak of the Wasatch Mountains.
This is the area where Macy moved.
We finally made it to the
Holiday Hills Apartments.
The kids got out and played

and played

and played.
Now for the UNpacking
This is the living room

This is the boys' room.
Addi-Belle is helping try out the bed.

This is how the kids help to unpack.
Pa put some of the furniture together.
He put the table (in the background)
two dressers, and three beds together.
Pa also did most of the unpacking.
Bion picked out the restaurant for tonight.
We ate at Sweet Tomatoes.
(This is Bion's favorite place to eat.)

This is their new home.
Good Night
