There was not that much candy. There were things like
modeling putty, and noise making putty, puzzles,
wind twirls, and he got a very special egg.
You get the egg, that was the same size as a real egg,
and put it into water.
This is what the little chick looked like after three days.
This is what it looked like after five days.
It was fun watching the little chick hatch.
It was a little rubber chick. We still can not figure
out how the chick fit into the egg, and then
grew to hatch. The soaking in water had
something to do with it.
What a fun project....we hope we
can do it again next year.
