for Orion, because it is the last year he is in elementary school Orion has
been going to elementary school at Arroyo Del Oso for almost all of his entire
life. He has gone since he was age 3 when he was enrolled in the pre-school.
So that makes 8 years out of his 11 years. It is a sad thing for all of us to say
good bye to the thing we are so familiar with. Orion has had a lot of experiences,
great teachers, and therapy one on one with so many people.
It was so many goodbyes.
Orion wrote a thank you letter to give all those
who have helped him.
(We made copies of the same letter for everyone.)
Mary Foster was his physical therapist,
Connie Green was his speech therapist,
Coach G. (Garcia) was his coach
was his adaptive physical education therapist A.D.P.E.
(this one help him in a P.E. setting. with balance, etc.)
Then there was his teachers, Mrs. Boyadjian who
mainly taught language,
and Mrs Skinner,
who he has had for the last three years,
but this year mainly taught math skills.
Orion wanted to say thank you with a special thank you,
and a gift card. We gave each one of the therapists and
teachers one, and we remembered to also
give one to each of the after school program
"Children's Choice" leaders as well. (Sarah, Cindy, and Erik.)
Good byes are always sad, especially when
there are changes ahead,
But it was time for Orion's 5th grade Graduation

3rd, 4th and 5th grades.

She was his reading and literature teacher.

Mrs. Newman just behind him is the principal.
The teachers Mrs. Skinner and Mrs Boyadjian,
told us this award was supposed to be the
Presidential Award given for
a significant improvement throughout the years.
Mrs. Newman made a mistake, however,
but we are pleased to get this award anyways.
This award was for citizenship
This award is the 5th grade graduation certificate
